According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average ex factory price of LDPE (2426H) was 9,333 RMB/ton on December 1 and 9,100 RMB/ton on December 30, with a drop of 0.25% during the period, 5.21% lower than that on November 1.
According to the data monitoring of SunSirs, the average ex factory price of HDPE (5000S) was 8,400 RMB/ton on December 1 and 8,466 RMB/ton on December 30, with a rise of 0.79% during the period, 1.2% higher than that on November 1.
The domestic polyethylene quotation in December was mixed. Among them, the LLDPE quotation rose and fell, with a slight decline overall; LDPE's quotation decreased in the first half of the month, and after the middle of the month, the quotation increased slightly and then remained firm; The quotation of HDPE remained stable after a slight rise in mid month quotation; At the beginning of the month, the crude oil price was weak and fell, which depressed the domestic polyethylene market; In the middle of the month, due to the relaxation of the domestic epidemic prevention and control policy, the logistics gradually recovered, the operating rate of downstream enterprises rose slightly, and the quotations of some models were raised; Near the end of the month, the price adjustment of petrochemical enterprises is limited, the manufacturer's price is firm, and the price of some models is subject to downward adjustment. The operating rate of agricultural film decreased, the demand for greenhouse film was slow to follow up, and some manufacturers continued to operate according to the order; In terms of packaging film and pipes, the demand is in the off-season, and orders are decreasing.
On December 30, the opening price of polyethylene futures 2305 was 8,045, the highest price was 8,170, the lowest price was 8,011, the closing price was 8,159, the previous settlement price was 8,080, the settlement price was 8,078, the increase was 79, the trading volume was 316,995, the position was 338,777, and the daily increase was 6,983. The center of gravity of the cost end crude oil moves downward, which has limited impact on the domestic polyethylene market. On the demand side, affected by domestic public events, the operating rate of downstream enterprises shows a weak trend, and the overall downstream orders are poor; On the supply side, many maintenance devices were restarted and the production picked up slightly. It is expected that the polyethylene spot market will be dominated by weak and stable conditions.
